We built a honey press so we can more easily get the honey out of the buckets of comb we have from the bee removals. We used a stainless steel pot and nesting colander for the pressing chamber and a big threaded rod and nut welded to a frame to push down the metal plunger. We have about 2 gallons of honey on tap right now in a lemonade dispenser.

Kelly and I painted a bike frame that Emmet gave me Pepto Bismol pink. We used some other parts I had lying around and the wheels Emmet donated. All we had to buy was the bling-bling gold chain and retro blue handles! Perfect for Summer cruising around Slo 🙂

Just had the first peach off of my tree that I planted with humanure earlier this year! It wasn’t the best peach I had ever had but it was plenty juicy and flavorful. Next year they will probably be a lot better as the root system gets more established.
